Likewise, this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected directly or indirectly by Partners (including their advertisers and third party service providers) for goods or services made available through a Partner Website that are not directly associated with your use of the Personals Services (for example, subscribing to a Partner’s online newsletters, the online purchase of goods or services through a Partner Website, registering for an online contest, or registering to participate in a message board maintained on or through a Partner Website).
By visiting this Partner Personals Area, you agree that your visit, and any dispute over SingleAndActive.com, LLC’s and any Partner’s online privacy practices relating to the Personals Services, and this Partner Personals Area, are governed by this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service associated with the Personals Services and this Partner Personals Area.
What Personal Information About Customers Does SingleAndActive.com Gather?
The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your experience at SingleAndActive.com. Here are the types of information we gather. In order to assist our members to meet each other we may feature members’ profiles on our websites’, in our editorials and newsletters that we send out from time to time to our members.
- Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing features for you, improving our service, and communicating with you.
- Information You Provide: The profile you create is available for other members to view, unless you choose to hide it from public view. Members’ profiles include a description and photos, likes and dislikes, individual essays and other information helpful in determining matches. Your viewable profile does not include any identifying information about you, except the username you chose upon registering.
- Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use “cookies,” and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses SingleAndActive.com. A number of companies offer utilities designed to help you visit Web sites anonymously. What About Cookies?

Does SingleAndActive.com Share the Information It Receives?

- Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control: We work closely with our affiliated businesses. In some cases these businesses operate stores at SingleAndActive.com or sell offerings to you at SingleAndActive.com. How Secure Is Information About Me?
- We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
- We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
- It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
Which Information Can I Access?
SingleAndActive.com gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with SingleAndActive.com for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information, the list of which will change as our Web site evolves.

SingleAndActive.com does not sell products or services for purchase by children. Children are not eligible to use our services, and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us. If you are a minor, you cannot use any portion of this site.

As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, address, and phone numbers; credit card information; e-mail addresses of “My Connections” and other information; content of reviews and e-mails to us; personal description and photograph in “My Profile”.
Automatic Information
Examples of the information we collect and analyze include the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; purchase history, which we sometimes aggregate with similar information from other customers; the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our Web site, including date and time; cookie number; profiles you viewed or searched for; pages you visited and your clickstream history. During some visits we may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.
Information from Other Sources
